I flicked the main power switch on my V5 PS2 modded with Duo and the damn thing didn't even power on - no red light - nothing! What can be wrong now? I'll remove the chip tomorrow and see what happens. Let us know what I should look out for... Thanks

Well the usual, make sure everything is plugged in correctly including the PSU and all the ribbon cables. If all that looks good, check your fuses on the mobo as well as on the PSU. Check over your wiring really well and that there are no shorts or loose wires. Also make sure that the ribbon cable to the reset/eject switch its self doesn’t have any damage. It may in fact be powering up but doesn’t look to you like it is because of an improperly seated ribbon cable (check both ends, not just the mobo connector) to the switch or its defective.
Good luck

Definitely missed sumfing on re assembling or blown main fuse on powerboard due to a short. Do not dispair yet. Take apart an check it all assemled correctly and check fuse with a multimeter. Worse comes to worse, remove chip an see if the thing will run happily without chip b4 going any further.
