Copying games with multiple cds to dvd

Hi, I like to know if it's possible to copy games with multiple cds like Battlefield Vietnam, SW:KOTOR, Diablo 2, and Call of Duty to dvd? Also, the steps that is involved in copying it. I don't need to put nocds or patches, just the original cds to dvd. It would save the hassle of switching cds during install.

Thanks.

1st, start with reading rules so your stay is a long one. then check out the stickies in the PS2 forums. Each forum has stickies with extensive information. if all else fails then do a search. if after exausting all those resources, we will help you but please understand that these subjects have been covered numerous times. BTW, welcome aboard.

Don't worry, my stay here will be a long one. I would appreciate it if you pay attention to what I have written and not cut & paste generic response that have nothing to do with my question. Which part of my question deals with PS2? Are you illiterate?

Now thanks for the welcome. If you actually have useful suggestions to my question, I would like to hear it.

Hi Firefly,

Depending on the smartness of the installer _and_ the copy protection, it may be possible to:

1. merge the files from all CD's into a single directory and put that into a subdirectory on the DVD; or

2. create images of all CD's (for protected ones, CDRWin/CloneCD/Alcohol 120% images are preferred over a plain ISO9660-compatible .ISO) and put those onto the DVD.

I don't think there are precise instructions and/or a list of games that can be hacked from CD onto DVD these ways. Grab a rewritable DVD and try it yourself!

Apart from this, I'm sure there have been threads about this so use the "search button" - this is what crazygamelover was talking about...

Joe

For installation cracking u should find accurate info here.

Besides that web page is in spanish, u should translate into english by using babelfish ( as example). Try the forum section, and then the "juegos conflictivos" one. For every game, there is a different installer. Here it is covered most important, from more that 2 year till now. If you know how to manage installation files, then u know how to make multiple installation files from different CDs into just only a DVD. The .msi method exposed here from a time is just a particular case.

good luck!
