is there any difference between these two
i was looking on http://meritline.com for more dvds, normaly i get Ritek G04 DVD-R 4X (Blank Silver Shiny) but i noticed that Ritek G04 DVD-R 4X (Ridata Branded) is cheaper. so is there any difference between these two? will the Ridata Branded still show up as Ritek GO4 in DVD Decrypter?

They work perfectly fine. Ridata is Ritek.
