I am thinking on buying a DVD recorder for my PC, but I am not sure because I have heard of the copy protections on the DVDs. I want to backup my movies. Is it possible to make backups of any movie dvd with any dvd recorder?
THanks |

Yup, just about any dvd burner should work. I would recommend that Pioneer AO7 or 1O7. Come back here, read up on how to backup your movies, and do a few searches. If you still have questions then feel free to ask.

Agree with Tyler. The Pioneer A07 or 107 is an excellent recorder.
Also the Sony DRU500AX is excellent. I have both recorders and they work well with Ritek disks. Almost zero coasters. The latest Sony is the model DRU530UL, but I have no knowledge of the performance on that model. Do a search on the forum for additional comments.
