ICO Save Couch, how????

I'm playing ICO and for the life of me I can't figure out how to save my progress. I get to the couch I sit down and nothing happens, I press all the buttons and I don't get a save options. Anyone know what I'm not pressing or doing, or if the game needs a patch or something? Thanks.

As soon as you sit down your the game automatically asks if you want to save.

It's not doing that....

I just installed the memory card manager and the new firmware for the Matrix Infinity, maybe that was the problem, or maybe the game needs a patch?

The game doesnt need a patch. Ive had my backup of that game for 3 years now and its loaded in every ps2 Ive modded since the neo days.

Thanks Tyler, I just figured it out. They both have to sit down on the couch together or the save option doesn't pop up.
