AAAHhhh help im being Hijacked !

every time i log on to IE my home page is diff, its been takin over.I have ran Adaware 6.0.181 and Spybot S&D and nothing shows up but I have noticed a program called SHellexp not-responding. I have Hijack this but I dont know much about it. Any help would be much appreciated, I want controll of my computer back lol thanks Stratusmatt

Ok sorry for the urgancy of the matter but some things can still be fixed by the simplest ways. I ran my system restore and restored it back before the Hijacking and so far it is gone and i have my CPU back! Its weird that sybot and adaware didnt see it, oh well maybe their will be a update soon for the problem. But it was Shellexp if anybody wants to know. Thanks anyways Stratusmatt

if i dont remember wrong, shellexp hides itself in the System32 folder so u think its from ur os and dont delete it, i had the same problem that it didnt find it, but if u close it from the task manager, then delete the actual file, and the run msconfig and get it off the startup list, that would do the trick without having to restore.

when this happened to me I first used "CWShredder" after that I used "HijackTHIS" and removed all the stuff that arent supposed to be there, and after that I used SpyBOT. Then I rebooted and it was all fixed.

If you post the result of a HijackThis scan here, i can probably tell you what you have to delete...
