Original bios??

Hi

I was just wondering about a little thing..
I'm planning to change the xbox harddisk with a bigger one.

Do I need original bios to play live with my original games??

My chip has a switch witch can turn it off

Your chip has to be turned off before you start your xbox, in order to go on xbox live. You cannot play backups online.

There are alternatives for games that support system link though, programs like xbconnect and xlink.

yeah but I was wondering about the bios..

Do i need the original bios also to go online with live?? I knew that i only can use original games on live with the chip off offcourse..

I mean, do the bios that I can flash on to my hdd support live playing??
