help with AR save

first , sorry for all the n00bish questions ive been asking. and thx for putting up with them.

ok now for the prob. i got an xbit,(it was really easy to install. thx to uhh... whoever recommended it to me lol) but my friend still wants to softmod as he's going through college (were roomates) and right now he is a little, uhh, *financially challenged*

. so we went ahead and loaded up the MA wit evox savgame hack on my old MA game and something REALLY weird happened. (no we didnt get *error 21*, although im not saying that it hasnt happened to me in the past lol) pheonix loader started up, but the initial phoenix sequence was EXTREMELY F*CKED UP!! it looked like i was watching directv in a really bad storm (for all of u who dont know, the picture gets all scrambled up i.e. chunks that were sopposed to be at the bottom are now upside down in the upper right corner, etc.). we didnt think to much of this, as we DID see the custom led pattern flashing, so we knew it was working. unfortunately, after the sequence, it hung there,loaded up xboxrom.bin( i know it did cuz it had a different led sequence then pheonix did) and then restarted loading up mechassault, but the led was still in our custom pattern, and mechassault was all scrambled up on the screen. now i went around on the net and found that hacked save games get screwed up when transfering them from AR to an AR mem card. is there any fix for this or do we have to get a new mem card, too?

sorry dudes, it was a stupid problem and we just fixed it. it wasnt the AR mem card it was that we were using a version of PBL that didnt support focus chips. we got the latest version and now it boots up fine.
