have they figured out how to distinguish between a 1.6 and the rest?
are all the newest ones 1.6's?

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. WHERE THE HELL IS HE?! :mad: [B]OWNED! <3 TylerDurden![/B]

Kinda...
If you think you have one, don’t open it up just yet. Get a flashlight and look thru the grill at the LPC holes. If LPC #4 is there, than its a v1.6. If not, well its not a v1.6  No public hacked BIOS for the v1.6 is out yet.
