I haven't actually burned any games to DVD yet, but here is a way of doing it.....

1. Turn on the Xbox with the chip enabled.

2. Use DVD2Xbox to copy the game to your hard drive.

3. FTP the game (including the game titled folder it is put into by DVD2Xbxo) to your pc.

4. Burn the contents of the folder to a DVD-R.....

First of all, the reason I suggest you do this is because DVD2Xbox will patch everything as it rips it to your HD. Secondly, you can FTP quicker when going straight from the HD than doing it from the DVD drive. As of how to burn it, you can take your choice of tutorials on that one. I've read about using various different software programs and whether or not to make it an .iso file first, and I can't say that one method seems much better than the other. I've used DVD2Xbox to rip all of my games, and to this day, RalliSport Challenge 2 is the only one I've had any problems with.

If you do decide to create an .iso out of the files, SimpleX Iso has worked great for me, and seems faster than most other iso programs that I've tried.

If you have any up to date bios, then those games don't need to be patched. x2 4981 is what I'd suggest.

LOL.....i guess i've been doing more work than necessary then....cause i've got the X2 4981 bios and i've been patching everything with Craxation anyway.....so far, the only game i haven't gotten to work is RalliSport Challenge 2.....nobody seems to know how to get that one to work.

well, just after posting my last reply, i fired up the Xbox and tried RalliSport Challenge 2 again........i'm not sure what's going on, but it's working just fine now......before, even with the original DVD, i was getting the dirty disc error (only if the modchip was turned on).

what i did was rip the game to the HD using DVD2Xbox, FTP'd all of the .xbe files to my pc, checked them with Craxation (none of them needed fixed, DVD2Xbox must've done it), and then sent the .xbe's back to their proper location on the HD.

last time i checked, it wasn't playing....i left the game on the HD anyway just in case someone figured out a fix or a patch was released. maybe since i turned the modchip off and played the original game for a few minutes before i had to return it to the video store, did something to make the copied version work. the only thing i can think is that by creating a game save while playing the original, it did something that let the back-up version work.
