Unhappy Nba Live 2003 Problems

Hello people.
I am having a problem with my NBA Live 2003 backup.
I don't know if anyone has it but.. here is the problem.....
The game works perfect, but......... when a player makes a foul or the ball goes out of court, (in the game playing normal) there is like an animation of the coach, or players swearing and stuff.
On my backup, after the foul, is like the game freezes for a minute, then the animation happens, and back to the normal game.!

I tried cleaning the disc, the laser, and there are no scratches on the cd.
What could it be?!?!?!
It used to work perfect before!!!!!!!

Thanx in advance!

Try reading slower and burning at 1x. I was having this problem with Rainbow Six 3, slowed both rates and perfect!

Thanx lufcfan. I tried and it is working now! Just wondering what was wrong with that game. It worked perfectly for 6 months man, and all of the sudden BOOM!.
Well anyway. Thanx again.

You probably have a some laser wear which makes it work a little harder to read the older, scratched media.
