please help!

I really try to avoid posting things like this as I like to work these things out for myself but I’m really stuck and I’m hoping someone can help.

I’ve got a creative labs 6424 burner and for what its worth, a 667mhz p3, 256 ram and a (small I know) 6 gig hard drive and a 1.2 gig slave drive

I’ve backed up about 5 DC games using DJ 3 (Crazy taxi, DOA2, soul calibur etc) with no problems until a week or so ago & now I can’t do any and its driving me mad!!!

Basically, I keep getting buffer under run messages. I can read the cd ok and when it comes to writing, the cache goes up to 28% then pauses, drops to 1%, then 0%. It then starts writing and spits the cd out after about 2 seconds. 99% of the time the cd is still blank

I’ve tried the following…
(1) Closing all unnecessary applications down before I start
(2) Reading at 1x speed.
(3) Using the slave drive to put the image on.
(4) Using DJ 2 instead.
(5) Using different cdr’s

and still no joy.

Any help would be gratefully received. If any of you guys have a similar setups have you ever encountered this error, how did you resolve it? I know it’s a common query but I’m really p**sed off at the moment especially as it was working a week ago!
