Question Farcry NO-CD patch causing to lock up mplayer?

Just wanted to know if anyone else experenced this problem, while playing the game I notice that I completely freeze for a couple of seconds to 15 seconds while play mutiplayer using the Far Cry v1.0 & v1.1 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE, 16K in size found on www.gamecopyworld.com

I never experienced this problem before i installed the patch, maybe this is a sign of a bad patch? I am not sure. I have also had to system restore my computer for it to properly work because it seems to make my programs open slower or not respond, this is not a virus, I have already scanned.

Any help?

If you don't mind I would like to stay on the question, and yes, they did use Rambus, they stopped using it after december 2002, The reason because of the high volume of returns on Intel Boards.
