Help with SelfBooting BORDER DOWN (MEGALEXXX???)

Hi everyone, I own a DC PAL System.
I'd like to make my game in 60hz mode, because on DC PAL system it boot only in 50hz mode with UTOPIA disc.

I've read MEGALEXXX Post where he suggests this:

I've downloaded this file, I've extracted 1st_read.bin and I've put it in X:\SELFBOOT directory
I've follow echelon tutorial to make a selfboot game, wrote on a CD audio.raw with cdrwin (1st track, bootstrap) and until here no problem.

I wrote on a DOS Prompt (my value are 0,1,0):

cdrecord -dev=0,1,0 -msinfo

"It will spit out a number in the form x,y. Normal values are 0,11700 or 0,11702 for a CD which only has AUDIO.RAW burned on the 1st session."

It give me out 0,11700.

But MegaleXXX on his post suggest:

"The LBA I used is 11702"

I've tried to make iso with 0,11702 but my console reset after BORDER DOWN's NOW LOADING screen and DC return to CONSOLE MENU :'(

Please help me with a detailed reply on how to burn this game, because so on I've trashed about 5 coasters

Isn't there a possibility to make a PPF file to patch the game?

The dc resets because the 1st_read.bin has been binhacked to 11700.

You should binhack 1st_read.bin to 11702.

I'm not sure if this will work since there are two instances of "CD001". Maybe you need to change the second instance as well (?)

But ALEXXX's 1st_read.bin should be LBA 11702 ready to burn, or have i to do something other?

Please help me because I'm a bit newbie on this scene.

My msinfo value was 0,11700 but I've done all Echelon's Tutorial with 0,11702 as suggested by Alexxx. Is this the cause of DC REBOOTING?

It's "prehacked" to 11702 : that means that if you have a LBA value = 11702, you don't need to binhack it.

OF COURSE, if you've got another LBA, you MUST binhack it (or hexedit it). Follow Echelon's tutorial, with LBA = 11700.
