I just flashed bank 2 with the cromwell bios, yet it has also flashed bank 1, which had the x2 4983 bios on. Now the xbox wont boot to evox, etc, as result, which i knew it would anyway.
I fixed this and put back on the x2 bios on bank 1. Does anyone know why this has happened. It has also occurred on a friends machine using the same mod.
It seems that bank 2 doesn't work correctly when attempting to flash with any type of bios. Cos i flashed bank 1 with the 4977 bios first, then checked the Kernal number which was correct for the bios i just flashed with. I then flashed bank 2 with the 4983, then switched to bank 1 after it was done and rebooted a second time.
However, when checking the Kernal Number again (bank 1) it the was the number 4983, which is bank 2's bios. So basically, when flashing on Bank 2 it will overwrite whatever is on Bank 1.
Weird!!
