Error Message With Rec Now Max

I keep getting the error message Error 10 at sector 800-command : 2A sense: FF ASC: 02 ASCQ: OE when I'm using Record Now Max. Could someone tell me what it is, and what I have to do as I have a carpet littered with coasters.

Its more than likely a read error. Are you burning on the fly?

No, I've tried disc to disc and transfering to my hd and burning it back that way as a data setting, but it always happens about 10 seconds into the burn process

What media are you using? What drive are you using? Have you tried a firmware update?

If I were you I would set it to "Test and if ok, burn". Should save you some coasters. Otherwise a firmware update is something to consider.

I dont think the reformating would do much harm.
