Clone DVD Media

Hello:
Everytime I go to burn a backup of anything.. movie or game using CloneDVD. I've also used DVD Decryter and Adaptec DVD version 6 burning software. Almost to the end of the burn I get various error messages. Allways media errors. I only get good burns on Memorex +R media. DVD identifier shows this as RicohJPN media. I've tried Princo and AN32 -R media and I keep getting coasters. Is there any inexpensive media out there that will consistantly work. I'm burning using a Sony DRU-510A with version 1.0F firmware. Or is this an operator or software issue?

Craig -

I have the Sony DRU-500AX burner, and I use CloneDVD with no problems. I normally use Ritek DVD-R disks.

I agree with the guy above, use Ritek DVD-R disks. Sometimes some of the Memorex brand and others would screw up toward the end of the movie on me but I've been using Ritek for a couple months now and have never had a problem since. %100 perfect burns for me now since changing the media brand.
