FFX and all key items

I've made a similar post on the codejunkies forum but nobody helped in any way, so i thought maybe I could get some help here. So, has anyone played final fantasy x with the use of an action replay max? My problem is that I input the code for having "all key items", crests, sigils, etc and when I start the game I see in my inventory that i have them, howver I can't use them! I mean, for example, I had gotten on my own the cloudy mirror. I needed the celestial mirror(cloudy's transformation"), to open the chest in the monster arena owner and get the nirvana for yuna. So I got the celestial mirror and all key items (eg all crests, sigilis) via the code, I them in the inventory but they don't actually work! The chest won't open because I haven't got a celestial mirror(didn't get it normally in the game on my own), although I do have it with the code. So I went on and got the celestial mirror on my own and the game THEN recognised that and I could open the chest. So I got Nirvana, yuna's legendary weapon. However, its attributes are locked. They should be unlocked when the player has in his inventory the corresponding sigil and crest of the weapon. I didn't get them noemally but through the code, I have them in the inventory. No deal, despite the fact that I play with a "have all key items" code on, the game disregards it and does what it should do normally, it doesn't give me anything "cause I haven't gotten it "normally" in the game by completing a quest or something.....

For the record, yes the code is correct, I doublechecked with the codejunkies site and it doesn't have a matter of "conflict" with any other code, 'cause I used it on its own apart from having it with others.
any help on this guys??? for the record, the code is correct and so is the master code and I've also tried it on its own without any other code loaded.

i dont understand the point of action replay thingys.

where's the satisfaction in typing in a code to get all the key items? the amount of time and effort put into finding all the parts to create those ultimate weapons is really something u can b quite proud of.
