CDRecord dosn't work
I'm trying to use the Ecshelon(sp) method of selfbooting files.
When i try to get my burner to identify itself through the Tutorial, all my other drives come up except for the Burning drive. I have an external burning drive connected to my comp through my 2.0 usb. is the reason why its not picking it up because its USB? |

I would say so, yes.
![]() Personally, I use CDRWin instead of cdrecord to write the audio/data tracks as I selfboot a game. I doubt that it would pick up an USB CDRW either, though. Methinks you'll have to go out and get an IDE drive... sorry

Check if you can see de device running "cdrecord -scanbus", or try installing updated ASPI drivers
