is my xbox live gone???

ok i got my xbox modded.

when i go to the MS dash board, with mod chip off it says xbox live, settings etc. but when i check the memory i cant find my xbox live account. i try to go to a game(with mod chip off) and all it says is creat new account. were the hell is my old one and i can i get it back?

Well either you updated your HDD (swapped, xbl accounts don't copy), or someone deleted it.

To get it back, just goto xbox live in the dashboard. There is an "account recovery" selection.

yeah i tried that after clicking on account recovery and then putting in my gamer tag etc it comes up with "your account can not be used at this time. try again later".
dose this mean im banned from xbox live or what?

Unless you were using that account on another xbox online when you tried t update, then most likely, yes, you are probably banned.

Try again later though, because it may have been a temperary thing. Usually it won't connect to live to even give you an error.
