PS2 V7 Apple Pro mod - Not playing multi elf files

So I don't hijack the original thread. Tried playing backup of Midway Arcade Treasures (multi-elf) Using eject button to power on and it dies on the title screen. Any suggestions?

Is it a CD-Rom game (Blue bottom)? Do you get Red screen? If so try to rebuild the image, extract all files with Isobuster, and create filelist.txt. Patch IMG files with EA Patcher and rebuild with CDGENPS2. I’m sure you can find more detailed instructions for these programs. It worked for playing Simpsons Skateboarding on an Apple Pro with eject boot.

Thanks for the response, its actually a DVD game. I am going to try a reburn with different media - but other than that??? I read on several forums about a TOC issue with V7s and some mod chips with some games - this being one of them. The only problem was NO ONE HAD A SOLUTION and no one ever really described what the ACTUAL issue was, only the symptoms. So I can't really get a grasp on the problem. All I can do is say, 'Yup same results over here - so what's the problem?'

Booting with eject is only for protected games that detect the MOD. That’s why I thought maybe it was a CD-Rom game. Simpsons SB was the only game I’ve seen so far that failed on an Apple and needed eject boot and an ISO fix I know there are a few more. Eject boot will not help if it is a TOC, maybe try a Boot CD, Code breaker, AR2, GS2, Swap Magic, Memory Manager, Region X… might get lucky with one.

If I had the game maybe I could be more help. I can’t imagine a big TOC. LOL, 22 old arcade roms on a DVD!! I know people can have over 2000 Arcade roms on a Mame CD-R!!

Well it was a bad burn after all. Thanks for the inputs. Tried burning it once before and it failed, so I was hesitant to try again.
