hi, i have some problems here...you see, i've learned some years ago how to change music and stuff like that for almost every dc game, and selfboot stuff too.
but!... i have problems changing SSF2X music , selfboot ok (echelon method) , adx's are ok too, but the game freezes and the DC doesn't detect any controller port , i'm quite shure about not changing anything else but adx's files, so i don't know what the hell happens...i know there must be some way to do it, i also know that ST music is great, but i want SF2' CE music on it. please a little help

1st i recorded sf2ce music using nebula music player, jukebox.
then i adjust their volumes and stuff like that, later i change them into .wav files, and then i use adxencd for converting into adx's , and for looping'em.
the i use isobuster for extracting all files into the data directory in c:\selfboot..and then i do the echelon selfboot tutorial, you know....binhack.exe, mkisofs -C .... , ipins, burning audio.raw, and finally burning the iso in cdrom-xa, m2... then happens the following:
1.- ssf2x boot loads pretty sweet
2.- there comes the intro (at this time, all controller ports are like dead or sth...(although i still can reset the DC with abxy+start)
3.- there goes the demo, slow as hell
4.- when the demo fight starts, both energy bars decrease completly.
5.- it stays a little , and then "here comes a new challenger" appears...
6.- the char selection screen comes up, but no slowdown in here.
7.- a new demo fight , slow again.
8.- it freezes
9.- ...freesbie

and then , i've just tried ip.bin extractor in ssf2x cdi image , got it, then i did echelon thing using it, and it happened the same again.

here is a easy way to unhidden files

for selfboot game

1: make a DJ4 image(CDI) of the disk
2: "CDIrip" the image
3: "ISOfix" the image
4: Open the Fixed image with "Winiso"
5: you will see any Hidden files

for non-boot game

1: make an ISO/BIN use any software
2: Open with "Winiso"
3: you will see any Hidden files

I tested this method with "Nadesico: The Mission" and it didn´t work.

Too bad that Megalexx´s method is too complicated to apply

hi Megalexxx,I've got the Vermilion Desert patch from you site, but when I patch it the message said "the size of the image file is incorrect",then told me patch successed, but actually it didn't work.
I made the image by CDRWIN 3.9x,maybe I've to make it to Disc Juggler CDI format? or what?
