I'm wondering where you get a 6CD Version from... downloaded?

As far as I know you can only buy this game on DVD, because 6CDs are too much (of course I know games with 6 or more CDs). But they put the files which are like 6CDs on 1DVD.

In some regions games will come on multiple CDs and then it'll be released in other regions on DVD. Whatever marketing tells them to do.

@grrantry1: You smell warez to me...becuase "I even tried label to cd6."

If you got the original 6 CD:s it will work, with your backup...and your label and all is on your ORIGNAL CD:S!

well I just want to back it up onto dvd instead of on cd.

Faster to install and don't have to switch the cd's all the time.

That is how I backed up Grandia 2 for pc But then again that was only 2 cd's.

I don't even use any of my originals Just the backups.

This has worked for UT2k3 (and many other games with InstallShield installer as well):

I've just copied all files from all CDs into one and the same folder on my harddisk. If a folder/file is on multiple CDs, I allways choose overwrite at the later CD.

At the next step, I install the game from this HD-folder. If the install works fine, I burn this folder to a DVDR.

This way I have backups of most of my games on DVD, can install them unattended (no need to confirm new CD) and have spare place for patches, fixed exes, walkthrougs, maps, AddOns,...
