Hey all!

Well, I have a lot of qualms about this protection. Apparently, making a mere copy in Alchohol 120 (savied under MDS, ripped using the Securom (NEW), Securom 4.x, and Safedisk 2/3 settings don't work. It says to insert the original disk and not a backup copy (at least that's alot more friendly than 'Please insert correct CD').

I can run a crack to get around this, but I don't like cracks. The games I'm having trouble with are UT2k4 and FarCry. I would normally just brush off the protection, but I like using virtual drives. I don't want to have to put in the stupid CD every time I go to play. Especially if it's a game I play oftenly. I don't like cracks because patches will not completely replace the game's .exe, and will complain if (heaven forbid) you use a cracked .exe.

Now they want to take away our virtual drives. Like we're too dumb to get around it. And use a stupid virtual drive. For god sakes, a virtual drive.
</rant>

Anyway, does anyone know the right settings/programs to use to get around this copy-protection from hell? In both being able to use the Virtual Drives and being able to use the backup copies?
