not sure whether I got the right wire

I got a 30 gauge kynar and a 22gauge "UL Recognized Hookup Wire", both from radioshack. I know the 30ga is right one, but is the 22ga the right wire too?

ok the 30 gauge is fine i use 36 gauge as it is easy to work with on fine points but you use heavy wire for the ground and power the 22gauge wire should be fine, ground and power only so try it
also keep the ground wire as short as posable and keep the power wire away from all the chips on the board and try not have any wires crossing over each other and use a low wattage soldering iron eg 15watt you should have no probs
