V7 Laser Issue
My bosses PS2 is dying out. It is about 1 year old. I think it is a version 7 and is unmodded. He has about 20+ games and only two remain working. Most of his disc are still in good condition so I do not belive this to be the problem. We have run a cleaning disc through it a few times with no change. He says that the kids leave it on a good bit. Could his laser have died out this quick? Just looking for any suggestion before I go about tweaking his laser.

Lasers aren't expensive to replace,
Does he still have the warranty sticker, his best bet would be to send it into Sony.
