anyone backup DOAX successfully?

Hiya all,

I've been trying to backup my copy of DOAX, and finally i've got an ISO that has all the directories and folders. In the past, when i burned it and tried to run on my Xbox, it would have dirty disk error...

Now i run my DVD-R, and it doesn't have dirty disk error, but the game doesn't load AT ALL. It doesn't even load up that "warnings" screen. anyone have probs or know how to solve this prob? i've already wasted 5 DVD-R's trying to backup this game.

BTW, i used ISOMANAGER to make iso, and used Nero to burn. EVOX recognizes the disc as a game disc and allows me to run it. Thanks in advance for any help!

I think that game has long filenames, which are over 40 characters long. use dvd2xbox to copy the files to your xbox hdd. I think it renames the longfilenames.

Are we talking about DOA volleyball? If so, I've never had a problem backing that game up, either on DVD-R or HDD.

because you used dvd2xbox , unless of course, you didn't

I don't have the game, so i never got a chance to look at the filenames.

are you sure cus i thought dvd2xbox dosent not rename files that have long names (it tells you the file names) because it would be pointless renaming them with out hacking other files to change the name of the files it points to and so you would get either a dirty disk error or a system crash while playing the game
