How do you Burn a X.001 through X.00# packed DC game archive??

Most of the DC game archives that I have located are the easy to use formats of .bin & .cue, .nrg, or .cdi. But I have found more and more games packed with the files that are labeled "X Game Title.001" through "X Game Title.005" or however high it goes for some game archives with larger games.

How does one burn game archives that are packed this way?

Please, DC Masters, enlighten me.

I was originally confused b/c when a game archive contains another set of archives within it, the archives within are usually recgnised by my PC as .rar or .zip files. But I had been finding that many of my game archives contained files that were not recognised, so I didnt think to un-rar them b/c my pc didnt recognise them as .rar files (perhaps this is b/c they were IN a .zip archive? I dont know. But when I tried to open these unrecognized files (that were in the game archive) with winrar. it worked.

Did that make any sense?

yes.

the old versions of winrar splited files were numbered .001, .002, etc...the newer winrar are, .rar, .r00, .r01, etc.

REALLY????

Older versions of WinRAR used the numbered-extension scheme??? IS THAT WHY RELEASE GROUPS STILL INSIST ON THOSE STUPID EXTENSIONS INSTEAD OF USING .rar/.rXX (or .partXX.rar) NOWADAYS!!!????
