try using complex tools 1.6 to rip your original disk and it will play fine on your hdd

you can find complex tools in the usual place *cough* xbins *cough*

yea i dont believe the patches/ppf work with the pal
at least.. they didnt originally
i didnt really keep up with it.. so im not sure
but probably not

don't know about any Pal patchers but i got the working Pal .xbe files and replaced them and am now playing perfectly from my xbox harddrive.
