I installed a x2.3pro. It did boot to cromwell 2.28 dev. So at that point, I thought at least I had the chip in the right way. Then I tried the flash with a bios on the first two banks, but it would still come up as cromwell after it did the install with 2981 and shut down. So I tried a 1024 file. Now it won't boot at all ! I can turn the chip off and it will boot as a normal xbox and I can play my games so I know my xbox is ok, but when I turn the chip on, it just trys to boot three times and then starts to flash red and green. I really need help with this please. Or maybe it's looking for me to put a boot disk in ? Can someone tell me what to do please ? thanks...

Well, if the cromwell will not boot, then the only way to flash is with a hotswap (but you need an xbox with a chip in it, not recommended), or you have to buy the programmer.
