? for warlock or ne1 useing RN DX

is there any way i can make it were i can select 1x-4x instead of mid min max cause it burns at 4x on all 3 speeds and as u all know my lite-on burners costers now at 4x i dont know why but i did burn r-type at 4x and it works but other games wont

i even bought a stick of ddr ram think that would help but didnt so i was going to use it at 2x but i cant use DX unless i can put it on 2x or maybe some one might know were i can get a RNM update that will allow my lite-on to work useing that prog cause i can set speeds with it. Hey bighap what happen to firmware-flash.com it wont load for me no more dose it for u ? say page cannot be displayed

Open recordnowdx select tools, then options and select burn speed.

well i got the update and can set the speeds now its wanting to be a b***h and give some stupid BS px egien error when buring god these progs dont want to work worth s**t when burning ps2 games i made a img from a brand new disk and it read just fine and in mid of buring this stupid error pops up wasteing yet another disk i prob lost a total of 25 disk alrdy from these stupid pcs i wish i had bought some cheap 4X dvdrs to try and would had not been such a loss on them cause there only 67$ for 100 pk but i guess i will stick with nero seems to be the only prog that will burn my games at 2x with no problems

Evo i dont know what the problem is, I am using a OLD 533mhz computer by E machines. It has 384mb of RAM, 20g HD running windows XP. I can burn everything at all speeds. I have had a AO3, I updated to the A06 and now the lite-on burner, all work flawlessly. It Could be you have some kind of software or hardware conflict but then again it could be alot of things. Bad media, low memory or to many programs running in the background can cause a burn error. Anyway, good luck with it bud, wish i could help more and i hope you get it sorted.

this is mainly a backup pc when i get my mobo back from the internetcrapshop then i should be able to burn at 4x again on my a06 and it wont be so bad buring at 2x on this pc im going to try another game later with RN DX and use a princo 2x dvd and see what happens i wish RNM would work with this burner cause i never had probs with it.

i think i fixed the problem with my burner i downloaded the new firmware the fsoj and it seems to be working good again i burned 2 games at 4x and both worked

so i belive it fixed the problem u might have to get the new firmware soon warlock

i will burn some more games tonight and let u know for sure if that was the problem.

ive been reading on cd freaks that they got a firmware hack that allows the 411s to change to 811s which is a 8x burner so far u can only burn 8x on dvd+r but there trying to get the firmware for the dvd-r so it will burn at 8x

dont look like i will have to buy a 8x aftr all
