sony problem

hi
my sony is a version 4 i think with a neo (old),but worked well enough for me no troubles booting any backups ever but just recently its played up a bit, power going through it just no picture on the tv,its happend twice first time i opened ps2 up just to check wiring of the chip didnt see anything wrong put sony back together still didnt work jiggled and wiggled the cable and it worked, this time i did the same thing but it wont work i think it might be the thing you plug the cable in to not sure any ideas, its not the cord cause i borrowed my mates sony and used my cords it works fine only his isnt chipped.
cheers
or could someone tell me who chips sonys in tasmania or fixes them or sells chipped sonys in australia.
