Webber can u help?

Has any had any problems running any us games on a PAL dc? If so please list what games. Is there anything that changes the NTSC games that dont work or have a problem to PAL?
I have seen patches that i have d/l (from dccopyworld.com) Capcom vs SNK Millenium Fight 2000 PAL Detection Fix 4 example- This just gives me a .ppf What do i do with the ppf file how do i get that to apply to the .cdi? I also have some more ?s like What Does VGA & LBA stand 4?
I also Soul Calibur Sound Fix d/l but i get a .ppf and a newfile.exe and some nfos. In nfo says:
INSTRUCTIONS
~~~~~~~~~~~~
1) COPY all the files from the Soul Calibur backup disc to a folder on your HD called DATA.
2) Highlight and change the file attribute of '1st_read.bin' so that it is not read only.
3) Now delete the following files from the DATA folder:

GBGM04R.P16
GBGM05R.P16
GBGM06R.P16
GBGM07R.P16
GBGM08R.P16
GBGM09R.P16

After deleting the above files your DATA folder should contain 456MB of data.

4) Now run applyppf from the DOS prompt and apply the 'adr-scp.ppf' patch to the '1st_read.bin' in
the DATA folder. You should be informed that patch was sucessful.

5) Now you need to create a dummy file. The size of the file will vary depending on whether you want to make the game self boot and what size CDR you're using. I've included the program 'Newfile' in this patch as I've found it the quickest and best utility for making Dummy Files.

For Dummy File sizes to use, see below:

Dummy File size = 203312000 for 74 Min CDR (Non Selfboot)
Dummy File size = 171872000 for 74 Min CDR (Selfboot)

Dummy File size = 255712000 for 80 Min CDR (Non Selfboot)
Dummy File size = 224272000 for 80 Min CDR (Selfboot)

6) Once you've made your dummy file, either

a) use NERO to make a non selfboot game and remember to alter the properties of the dummy file to 'low' before you start burning.

b) follow ECHELONs guide on making the game self boot.

um I only have the cdi of the game how to i get all of this ie GBGM01R.P16 etc..? Do i have to extract it? If so how can that be done.
I know that I put a lot of ?s but if any1 can help me out please post anything on what they know. Thanks
