Xbox no mod
Just a few questions,
Is there anyway i can play burned DVDs on a xbox (without a mod)? And is there anyway to play burned xbox games (without a mod)? If so what stuff do i need? thx

u can do the exploit, but i suggest just goin for a modchip thats non solder since u seem like a beginner.. i recommend the xbit

short answer: NO
long answer: kind of. you CAN DO IT if you have: (1)a memory card and (2): action replay OR xbox gamesaves OR a megaxkey. (3) You will also need a crossover cable OR a router. thats all you need. BUT, IF YOU WANT TO GO ON XBOX LIVE, you will also need (4)the game mechassault OR james bond 007:agent under fire. if you dont have one of those games, just rent it from blockbuster or something. but remember, you only neeed those if you want to go on xbox live. To NOT ever use xblive again and soft mod: once you have all of that, you need to go on irc and go to xbins. then get a password for xbins, and ftp to xbins. download the font hack. (not sure of the actual file name for font hack, as i use mechassault method) to be able to go on xblive AND softmod: then once you have all of that, you need to go on irc and go to xbins. then get a password for xbins, and ftp to xbins. download something called mechassault with evox or james bond007:auf with evox there. thay are saved games. then download pheonix hacked bios loader, also from xbins.put them on your memory card with action replay or xbox gamesaves and load them up with mechassault or james bond 007:auf, (depending on what game save you downloaded from xbins. then load them up with their respective games. WARNING for font hack: Never connect your xbox to the internet, EVER when you are using the font hack. VERY bad things could happen depending on what your settings are, like your xbox not working, EVER again!! also, never leave your xbox unplugged for more than 4 hours. or it also might never work again! WARNING for mechassault and james bonf 007auf: Never connect your xbox to the internet when you have loaded your mechassault or james bond 007 save game. when you want to go on xblive, simply turn off the xbox and turn it on again, without loading that special save game. then you will still be able to go on xboxlive. other than that, soft modding is safe, and although mech and james b are much safer to use, the font hack works too, if you dont have those games or, of course, you COULD listen to axmichigan. and get a no solder chip. and ya, dude, the x-bit is awsome! my friend has it and it took like 15 minutes to install! kind of pricy though, depending on where you get it.

Looks like allot of work and potentially dangerous for a noob. Just get a mod chip.
