evox skin maker?
what do u guys think is the best evox skin maker?
ive used evox skinner and it worked fine.. until now.. now.. it doesnt do like half the pics i tell it to.. anyone know y?

if the filename is too big, the pc doesnt send that pic file to the xbox, so u dont have the background

I just edit everything manually, it is easier since I can use adobe photoshop to find the pixel coordinates.
Although, there was a really nice flash animated one made a while ago. I don't remember the name, but you will not find a better one.

how small are the names? just make the background image 1.___ and the loading image 2.___ (2.jpg) it should work fine thats what happens with my now u can make animated backgrounds?

I was using Evox Skin Creator. Some of my file names are down to like 5 letters. Its weird some work and some dont.

I think I've tried every skinner out there for EVOX with little success. I was never able to get EVOX Skinner to work and Evox Skin Creator worked then all of a sudden it stopped working??? I thought maybe it was because most of my pics weren't 640x480, so I converted and it still woudn't work.
I always rename my pics main & launch, so it can't be the file name size. The one that works every time for me is Evolve 1.0 (not Evolver). It's really easy to use especially with text placement and it works with all my pics. Recently I've also tried SkinYourEvox and it seems to work every time. Mike T.

i mean like ip settings
did it save okay? or did it just not transfer to the xbox correctly? ... use evox skinner lemme noe what works and what doesnt ... make sure the using directory is the same (the working one) i recommend making a new one for each skin, put 2 new pics there, label 1.jpg, 2.jpg, save it.. customize whatever else u want then it should work
