Burned DVDs played on PS2
Can you play a DVD back up or one you created yourself on a PS2 without a mod chip? I tried it with one DVD back up and it did not work.

Yes you can, i have a v7 and i can play DVD+/- R,before i got my mod. More info is needed on yours, some older Versions the laser is weak so they will not play backups.

I think I have a v7, not sure though.
Model #: SCPH-39001 I think something was wrong with the DVD, though. Which may be the reason it did not work. I was curious because I don't own a DVD Burner yet, and was wondering if I should get a mod chip first. I'll be getting a Pioneer 106. |
