Disc Juggler Strikes Again!!!!!

I successfully burned nfl2k1.cdi using dj 3. Since then, however, i have been unable to burn any self booting images. The cache crashes out at 56% and I get a "no seek complete" error. Tested the nfl2k1 image again and it still works but haven't gotten a cdi image to burn since. By the way I'm using an acer 6x4x32 burner in Win 98. I have 128MB RAM and loads of HD space.

So I tried cdi2nero but when I burned the image in nero 5 (it apparently burned successfully) nero just burned the "image"; none of the game files were extracted as they should have been and my dc thinks that the cdr is an audio cd (to clarify...there is just one 650+ MB image file on the cdr).

Tried cdirip 0.5a and ended up with 3 files...2 wave files and an iso file but I don't now how to burn them now.

Can anyone out there please suggest a way to burn a cdi file or convert/rip a cdi file so that I can burn it successfully?

cheers

I can't even get DJ to recognise cdi files anymore...i mean if i double click on a DJ CDI FILE , DJ opens up but doesn't darken up the start button... when i go try and find a cdi file using DJ , it doesn't see the file in the directory...i wonder if by using an old serial on the version of DJ i am using caused DJ to blacklist me and not burn the files....this happens with other programs and i wonder if it's happening to me here..

Can't really help you there, I would say use the wizard in Discjuggler and make sure you have the latest version, but I'm not totally sure..

However I noticed you said the word "cheers" and you're probably from UK. If you are, it'd be cool to talk more as I live in UK and I'm heavily into DC Burning.

Actually, no I'm not from the UK I'm from Newfoundland Canada which was once a british colony (if you're into trivia!). We used to "fly" the Union Jack before joining confederation with Canada. So, I guess the "cheers" greeting was "inherited" from our British ancestry! I'm new to DC burning so it would be great to keep in touch and help each other out if possible.

cheers again! lol

Anything seems to be possible with dj so i don't know why it wouldn't even recognize cdi files...I'm learning to hate dj...even though it burned one game for me! I would try uninstalling and reinstalling dj...but you've probably alreay tried that. Sorry I can't be of more help.
I've read almost every post on this message board and dj problems seem to be extremely common...it seems to either work perfectly for some computer configurations (sometimes without changing any settings) but with other configurations it is very troublesome.

Yeah. Thus why it's a gray area when trying to assist anyone in fixing their DJ to burn right..

As I said, I had an old version of DJ and my computer wasn't compatible but I updated to the latest and it worked great.

Or you could just get the Nero boot disc and burn from Nero.
