I wont use any memorex. Maybe the ones in the UK are ok but the ones here are so thin that it doesnt take much to see right through them. They are also easy to scratch.

Yep, memorex cd-r's are crap here in the US.@MystD, Black cd-r's have poor reflectivity. About the only thing i will use them for is audio cd's.

Hmm, the PS1 original CDs are black too. So the PS2 should have no problems with it. Has anyone testet black CD-Rs with the PS2 so far?

I thought my FF10 backup was working fine but it freezes at some point X_X

Yakumo DVD-Rs are HQ right? Or should I use different ones?
Just Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution is working, F10 and Way of the samurai have errors.

- A normal 1:1 copy should work right?

I would just use Ritek or if your in the UK use Traxdata. Those will be the better dvd media you will find these days.

As long as it has the GO3 or GO4 dye you should be fine. I would say about 85% of the users here use either Ritek or Traxdata (since they both use the same dye) and have success. In my experiance they are probably the better choice of all dvdr's.

Which CD-Rs are still deep blue? I just can't find some.
Are the purple ones good?

- Used a black one too and it works perfect
