game crash when using C&C: Generals: Zero Hour v1.02 +10 TRAINER

Hi, I am hoping someone might be able to help me, every time I try to run the C&C: Generals: Zero Hour v1.02 +10 TRAINER it causes the game to crash a box pops us and says "technical difficulties. you have encountered a serious error. serious errors can be caused by many things including viruses etc etc"

I have even tried using a nocd patch but still I get the same problem. I have no viruses and my hardware temps are normal and the game starts up with no problem without the trainer. My game version is definitely v1.02 and I have re downloaded the trainer in case it was corrupt.

My system specs are

amd xp3000+
1024mb pc 3200 ocz ram
geforce fx 5800 128mb
windows xp sp1

Any help would be appreciated
Cheers Peter

Re: game crash when using C&C: Generals: Zero Hour v1.02 +10 TRAINER

I have trouble with the original Generals crashing after I install Zero hour. I get a technical difficulties screen upon startup but just from the original, Zero Hour works fine but it seems to screw up Generals when I install the expansion. I wish I also had a solution. I'm not even using the trainer and have even tried it without a CDfix and a new set of original CD's.
