Hi guys, I need a little advice on how t burn a ps2 game. I just got my ps2 today so ill ask a simple question. Does anyone know how to burn Tekken Tag Tournament. What programs do you use and how can i get a boot disk or make a boot disk? Also can i back-up the ps2 game using cdrwin? I really need all the info so please, please help me!! Thanks

HI,

First things first.

Do you have a mod chip pre-installed??? (need 1 4 backups)
Do you have a boot Disc ie Region X (need one 2 boot backups)
What writer do you have??
Do you know if your writer supports Clone CD??
Do you know if your writer supports CDR-Win

Please answer these questions plus looking at www.psxcopyworld.co.uk you will find turorials on how to backup your games and will give you a good ####t

Write Back and we should be able to get you backing up your PS2 games, when your supplied the info above

Thanks Dal for asking cause i forgot to put it in there. Ok first i don't have a mod chip or boot disc. Its an american ps2 . Also i have a hp burner and i have to download cdrwin to see if it works as well as the other program.

Also i forgot again, can you back up a game like the old ps games.... or do you have to download the games like dreamcast.

Hi,

What HP writer do you have?? i have a HP8200i and it works with clone so get on there site and download a trail version if your writer is compatible then thats a good ####t. Then need to get a modchip fitted either from www.playstationmods.com or modchip.com then you have a look and see which type suits you ive gone for a NEO chip. Then you need a boot disc, like a AR2 or Region X.

Backing up ps2 games is the same as if you were doing a ps1 backup. get a modchip fitted and download the writer software, then post again and ill post some more info

Dal, Dal, Dal....you're the man. Thanks for all the help and everything. But to answer your questions now...its a hp writer plus and it works with clone cd.( I know this cause i burned my first ever ps game today not ps2,ps). Anyway I'm gonna look up those boot disks too and modchips. So thanks and keep a look out for my post. I really appreciate all the help. Oh , with clone cd do you have to patch anything?

Hi,

If you use CLONE CD then you wont have to patch PAL ps2 games. Ive only had my ps2 two weeks and backed up 7 games with no problem, using clone.

ive got a NEO2.2 chip and it works a treat, and use REGION X as my boot CD.

If you've got a US PS2, go to www.modchip.com and consider their modchip offering amongst your other options.

Thanks Charlie and Dal for the help. I just read some where that there is going to be a mod chip 4.0Neo due out in sept.. So my question is if you put a chip in can you take it back out, or replace it wirh a new one. Also i never have put a chip in before so is it hard to do yourself? Also that 4.0 chip won't need a boot disk and it can't be detected by games that block out modded systems..
