Hi i need help with loading up these trainers.
I've created a folder on my E drive named trainers and i have placed my .etm file in there. Yet when i reboot and select "Trainers" from the evox dash main menu, it just has one selection and it says "sorry trainers". BTW i can't select it.
Am i placing these trainer files in the rite place?

Does the game have to be on the HDD in order for the trainer to work?

you are placing the trainers in the wrong place. place the trainer files in the trainer folder on you'r c drive in the xbox.

and no the game does not have to be on the hd for the trainers to work just activate the trainer via the menu. it will work when ever you play the game wether from dvd or hd.

I can now see the trainers.
However none of the trainers from the evox site work for me.
I've tried both the NTSC and PAL ones for this particular game, yet to no avail.
Is there like a correct procedure in activating them?

yea they didnt work for me either so i just deleted em all

Lol AXmichigan looks like the best advice i would have to follow then. But i do know of ppl being succesful with the trainers and absolutely loving the help it brings. ah well...

yea so the rumors go..
if i use a trainer i just use the ones that come with the old school ones.. where u gotta patch the ips to the defeault.xbe

does that method, patching with ips involve needing to back-up the game?

u gotta somehow get the ips on the defeault.xbe

u gotta either reburn it or transfer it to the hdd

if transfering to the HDD how do u then use the .ips file to patch the game's .xbe?

u transfer the xbe back to the comp
use ipswin to patch it
and send it back
u can change the filename to somethin like "___ hacked.xbe"
thats what i do just in case i dont wanna use it
