It was in my IE Favorites and I was going thru it and found it, than chainsaw said he needed a dealer in the UK and I remember I had that link. Not sure why I put it in there but I did...

Controller port LEDs are very very easy to install. If you buy them from them all you have to do is take yours out and put the new ones in. But doing it yout self is easy as well.

And you really cant beat the price of £9.99 (Thats $18 for us Americans, and $23 for all you hockey loving Canadians ) I don't think I could even buy two sets of controller ports that cheap any where else.

I've been toying with the idea of doing this to my XBox. All though I will use green LEDs to go with my green case. Just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

When I stop being cheap and buy a new digital I'll get pics. Damn it Tyler FedEx me yours

I still have to get my hands on four green controllers and about 40 LEDs. My original plan was to put seven LEDs per controller times four. Than one in each controller dongle, one in each controller port. For a total of 36 LEDs.

My problem is, if I stick seven LEDs in each controller and happen to have all four plugged in I’m afraid I’m gonna fry my board or some thing. I don’t know if it really will or not, but I know the board wasn’t designed to put out plus that much power.

So what I think I’m going to do is for getting power to the controllers with out burning any thing out is use the yellow wire to send +5v to the controllers. The yellow wire isn’t used for any thing any way so it will be perfect. The only LEDs that will run off the USB power it self will be the ones in the controller ports and the dongle.

Another idea I had was to use two SUPER bright LEDs in each controller. I can get 11,600mcd green LEDs. Damn things looking brighter than the sun. So than I wouldn’t have to use the yellow wire to send +5v to the controllers. I just haven’t really havnt decide what I’m going to do yet.

Heres what I will be doing to all the controllers assuming I use seven LEDs per controller:

As I said in another post is that I want to put an LED fan in the back, but I want to have options of the Thermaltake’s Smart II fan, but still have the LEDs. So its just a lot to think about and how to get all of it down. Plus the time to sit down and do all of it.

LOL the really bad part about all of this, is I don't even like the S controllers. It will be all show. But I could use them when we have Halo Lan parties.

After I’m done with these mods, I swear I’m never opening my case again.
