I agree with Biggie...why bother burning slow...i use 4x traxdata and never had a prob.
Even though some of the discs i have used have said they were 2x and 4x and they still only burn at 1x...but that could be due to the manufacturer not being 'regognized' or 'supported' buy the writer and a firmware update may be the answer. But the reason for you apparent problem is that the program analizes the disc speed and due to a glitch in the software it will burn at the optimum speed.... I got in touch with record max and they told me that they were aware of this and the 'problem' will be solved when they release a updated version of the software.
