Hi,
What HP writer do you have?? i have a HP8200i and it works with clone so get on there site and download a trail version if your writer is compatible then thats a good ####t. Then need to get a modchip fitted either from www.playstationmods.com or modchip.com then you have a look and see which type suits you ive gone for a NEO chip. Then you need a boot disc, like a AR2 or Region X. Backing up ps2 games is the same as if you were doing a ps1 backup. get a modchip fitted and download the writer software, then post again and ill post some more info Cheers Dal
