How is it decided what games have no CD cracks created for them?

Hello everyone,

My question is mostly for the moderators, but anyone else is welcome to chime in if they know the answer.

What I am trying to ask in the subject of this thread is, do no CD cracks get created because of the people making the requests on this forum?

If so, how many requests do you need before it is decided to do so?

For example, if I'm the only one that requests a no CD crack for an obscure, or not very popular game title.......am I wasting my time by asking?

I've also noticed that there are some game titles that have had many requests for a no CD crack, and the game has been out for a while, yet there has been nothing posted on GCW.

So how does all this work? I have two game titles I would like to request a no CD crack for. But I won't bother if I know that nothing will be done.

Almost 99% of the available cracks on GameCopyWorld aren't created by the guys here on this board.
A crack request on this board is only a question "Have you seen it anywhere?" and not "Can you make one?".

It isn't unimportant how popular a game title is, but popularity can help.

Just make your request for the two games. I anyone here on this board have a NoCD, he will tell you.
And perhaps you have luck and the game is only protected with CD Checks and one of the "Gods" (

CDKiller, Joe Forster, ...) will create a NoCD for you.

This type of request does not makes a crack to appear. This depends on many things, like if the correct cracker gets the supposed game. With latest protections, only "super"crackers can deal with them (e: starforce) and a crack can be released later from the official game release. This is specially important with games protected with starforce ( it is needed a high time on manual "fixing" of starforce, there is just two or three generic starforce remover, but this is a big treasure, that crackers will not make public ( it's needed a high knowledge of code to make that and a lot of time, so do not think sharing that with "people that only want to play")
With other games, just wait. If it does not appears in your version ( spanish, italian, french....) then bad luck.

Anyway, try to contact with national crackers ( spanish one is keops/style for example) and pray.
