Make GC isos smaller
I've made my own Image file. I've seen that it is somehow possible to cut out the junk out of the images. I used GCMWipe, but that didn't work. Does somebody know how to do it?

GCMwipe wipes out the garbage data from a gcm so that it compresses better but the gcm still stays the same size.
There is another tool GCMUtility that removes garbage and compacts the gcm. So far i tested it on Luigi's Mansion and the difference is amazing. Luigi's Mansion.gcm was compacted from 1.4gb to a mere ~280mb. Other games like the Wind Waker will still take ~1gb since they fairly big and don't have much garbage data.... but even that is better than 1.4 You run gcmwipe from dos window... |
