Evolution X come with chip?

Hi im interested in getting the X-Ecuter 2.3b Lite and i just woundered if once its in my xbox the Evolution X dashboard is already installed , or do i need to run it off a cd of some sort, if so where can i get one from?. Do i need to flash the bios often ? i know these chips come with it already installed.

EvolutionX is ran off your xbox, has nothing to do with the modchip itself. yes, you have to flash the chip yourself with hacked bios (comes with cromwell, just burn the bios to a disk named "bios.bin, romwell will do the rest). I suggest X2 4980 bios. You cannot ask where to get either the bios or apps as the legality is questionable.
