DOES burn speed really matter on DC games 2x or 4x?

ive heard on some rips, slower burning makes things load faster.
but i cant tell a diffrence.
any info?

It depends on your writer. I write all DC stuff at x12 with no hassle, but other people have used older writers at x4 and x8 and had issues. It works the same with PSX games, some writers just have to do them slower to get a good cut.

DC lasers are a lot better than PSX ones though, so there should be no real need to burn slower unless you have an older type writer

we burned at 16X on the cheapest media they had at the store (only rated for 10x) and it works perfectly. if you have a shitty burner that says it can write at a fast speed but messes up, write at something slow. if it works, it works.
