Error Message when trying to burn wirth record now max

Hi!
When I try to burn my created dvd image (gta3) to a dvd-r disc with record now max an error message appears:

"error -10 at sector 0 - Command:52 Sense:05 ASC:24 ASQ:00"

I have got a Matsh ita DVD-Ram UJ-811 and blanc Ultron discs.
Does anyone know this issue?

Thanks in advance,
newB

Could be a media issue or a bad image. Try cleaning your original with dish soap and warm water. It isn't scratched up is it?

i think the reason why the message appears is the burner, not the image because i have just finished making an image of final fantasy 10 (my second ps2 game to backup) but when i try to burn the same message appears........

My personal experience with is error is basically the media burning speed. apperently some media's pregroove information is either missing or the drive does not support it.

However lowering down the burn speed to 2x or 1x will solve this problem.

Technically speaking, you should be having all drives that needs piority up as masters (HDD as IDE0 Master, Disc Writer as IDE1 Master) this will cause your pc processing power to place these drives with higher piority. However if you are using scsi interface, it really doesn't matter that much.

Hope all these help

Is your DVD writer on its own channel? I had a horrible time when I got mine because I had a DVD-ROM on the same channel and it was giving me nothing but grief!
