Zoo Tycoon,Media Authentication Failed?

I was wondering if anyone could please help me out with this game I'm trying to install.I borrowed A freind's p.c game called "Zoo tycoon complete collection" which came with 2 c.d's the first c.d being the main install disk and disc 2 being Marine mania addon's.I didn't have the cd's for that long but I did copy the entire contents of both c.d's as is to seperate folder's C:\Zootycoon1 C:\Zootycoon2 right now when I go and click on the setup file in Zootycoon1 it start's out good with the Zoo tycoon menu showing and then I click install then it states welcome to Zoo tycoon your product i.d is 736....
The full number is shown,so far so good.I then click next and I have 2 option's 1:Minimum install 217mb or
2:Full install 511 mb I then click next and here's where the problem is.

It states "Media Authentication Failed,quitting setup" I'm asuming this is A c.d check although I could be wrong.So first I try the whole thing over again but this time minimum install,get the same error message.Ok so I then burnt all the contents of the entire folder direct to A c.d put that c.d in,starts to autorun,so far so good.Then like before when I get to the screen where I choose Mimumum or maximum install I choose Maximun install and even when running off the c.d it still states "Media Authentication Failed,quitting setup" why?

Unfortunatley I no longer have the original c.d's as I've given them back to my friend but I didn't think I needed them anymore as I've copied the entire contents of both c.d's to seperate folders and then as I stated above even burnt the full contents as is to A c.d

Besides let's say even if I did copy the original c.d as is,what difference would it make as I've got everything off that c.d burnt to A c.d of my own from Hard drive to c.d Also I've made sure that folder options are Show all files,nothing's hidden,everythings shown.

I've actually downloaded A few game cracks for Zoo tycoon no c.d BUT,there only to be used when the game is fully installed,but how do I install it?I'd apreciate any help with this thanks.

I'm thinkin', Thats illegal bud, you have to own the game. We do not support piracy here. Read the rules.........

sounds like a copy right protection. I did the same thing with UnrealTournament3. It won't play with the copied discs.

yep, Securom 4.8x.xx.xxxx so copying the files to hd for burning won't help.
